What on earth is Modern Thrills and why should I care?
The truth is, you probably shouldn’t care. The idea behind Modern Thrills is nothing more than trying to bring to life my nerdy obsessions in to something that can be appreciated by like-minded individuals.
As child of the 80’s and 90’s my points of reference come from terrible movies, Tamiya RC cars (and the mini-4WD ones), skateboard design and later on, a low-key obsession with mid-century design. The fact I’ve spent the last 20 years as a graphic designer and creative director I know how to make things work for other companies - when it comes to your own thing, it gets a little different. A little more personal and the fear of judgement and will anybody like any of the shit I’m pedalling?
As we all know, Rule #6 is, don’t take yourself so damn seriously, and that is what I have tried to do here. A celebration of enthusiast pursuits (read, nerdy hobbies), hopefully eschewing the tropes of their specific areas and being something a little more fun.

Product Information.
As we are in the infancy of the brand (not mention a one-man team!), we don’t know what the demand will be, so we are operating on a premium print on demand service for the time being. This has environmental benefits as we are able to fulfil orders locally vs. shipping everything from the UK. This also means import duties, along with shipping costs should be minimised. Usual dispatch is around 5-7 business days from order.
All the designs are original to Modern Thrills and designed in-house by myself. You can’t get these anywhere else!
Returns.
As all of our products are created individually for each order we are unable to accept returns unless it is because of a manufacturing error. Please be sure to order the correct size!
